nicely furnished rooms with great amenities, but take note that the “hot tub” service is not the best
It was clean, basic and roomy. We weren't there very long as we arrived late and left early the next morning. It took us a bit to find our room and how to get in. The reception was closed and we had to call the 24 hr emergency number. They said they sent the codes to get into our rooms, but I could never find it. They helped us out right away. I appreciated that they left real milk in the fridge for my coffee in the morning. A microwave would have been good.
Great location, warm cozy rooms. Super comfy beds. Coffee machine. Tea and milk all included. Tv has chrome share so can watch anything from your phone or laptop. Staff were lovely down at reception and the bar. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE FOOD TRUCK. The man in there is a genius. The mussel are on another level. The quality of food is so high compared to any other food truck you may have come across. Hot tub was fantastic. Highly recommend staying here for hiking and fun activities around the highlands.
A stunning place to stay if you're wanting a few relaxing days. Perfect location for peace and quiet and venturing into the mountains. Staff very helpful and informative. The room was clean, well presented, with a fridge and coffee machine, with capsules provided. Lovely bath and shower. Overall a brilliant stay and will be back.
My family enjoyed the roomy accommodation, the updated bathroom, and the location of the room was a bit tricky to find, but it was v.close to some great restaurants and cafes! The coffee in the room was amazing, but there were a bit too many wires exposed for comfort.
Very friendly staff, cozy accommodation and the breakfast out of the food truck outside, looking at the waterfront, was just perfect. We look forward to coming back!
We loved our stay at Woodlands House . The room was perfectly clean and spacious, the hosts are welcoming. A lot of privacy , away from the main road. Smart TV , hot tub (bathrobes provided) and Nespresso coffee machine (with plenty of capsules to choose from) was a great addition to the amenities of this place.
Wasn't sure what to expect but this place was fab! Nice and quiet, check in at the main reception on site and get given the code to get in the room. Room was absolutely massive with lovely comfy bed and gorgeous linen. Dog friendly. Loved the coffee machine (little tip for the owner - it would help to have a little light in the cupboard to see on dark mornings) and fresh milk. A fridge which was great and a fan too. We got some breakfast items to have in the room. Could do with a couple more sockets for chargers etc. Stayed 2 nights and throughly enjoyed it, it was the end of our NC500 trip. Ideal for a Glencoe/Fort William stop.
